ANDREW ADLER President/CEO
Mr. Adler is responsible for directing all aspects of AVG and its affiliates. In this role, Mr. Adler serves as director of operations, implementing building and sales strategies, as well as making all final investment decisions for new acquisitions. Mr. Adler is also responsible for managing all equity and debt relationships, joint ventures, and investor reporting. Mr. Adler is an experienced company manager whose achievements and housing projects have been featured in national publications and have received the industry’s top awards. His accolades include winning the homebuilding industry’s most prestigious award of NAHB Builder of The Year (NAHB- National Association of Homebuilders). As an innovator in urban housing, his residential projects also received several of the top design honors in the country including three AIA Design Winner awards and Multi Housing News Best Townhomes nationwide for contemporary housing. Previously, Mr. Adler served as the CEO and President of CityHomes, Inc. since founding it in 1997. CityHomes’ acclaimed architecture and development planning brought the company to national attention in three years from its creation. In 2001, Centex Homes, the nation’s largest publicly traded homebuilder at the time, acquired CityHomes and its land interests. While under Mr. Adler’s leadership, CityHomes was the second fastest growing private company (Dallas Business Journal Pacesetters). The company received seven National Pillars of the Industry awards, including Best Townhome Community and Development Firm of the Year from Multi-Housing News.
His career includes the completion and sales of over 50 projects and over $1 billion in planned residential communities and mixed-use projects. Mr. Adler holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tufts University in Civil Engineering and Management. He has also served on several civic and industry panels and is a published expert in building energy efficiency.
